Well, I've been away for a while. I have, however, put the time to good use.  Sort of...  In the time I've taken to create and complete my first piece for Winter (see recent submission), I've gone through a computer and worked on this new style. Hrm...I suppose such bold statements require explanation.  First off, my old AMD64 began overheating and burning.  And I do mean burning.  So, after this unfortunate incident, I needed to search out something to replace it.  Now I'm working on my beautiful (and sexy) laptop with the 17" widescreen monitor. Art style.  I've created this latest piece in a slightly different way than previous pieces.

Well, I was feeling somewhat nostalgic while working on Spiderman.  The result is the Pacman wallpaper now up in my gallery. There are days I miss the old games, and need to pull out my Atari, or Nintendo...heck!  Even my Genesis on occassion.  As much as I like new games and play them (currently working on World of Warcraft and Counterstrike: Source), there's something about the pixelated graphics, catchy tunes, and simple gameplay that brings me back.  I still remember my days of youth, heading over to J.A.'s (John Anderson's; a hamburger place) and bugging my mother for quarters to play Space Invaders or Dig Dug! Well, I've finally made another submission.  However, it's not the piece I originally planned on.  I did begin work on a sequential page, but realized the holidays were fast approaching and something seasonally appropriate seemed like a good idea. Halfway through drawing Santa Claus I ended up with an infected finger on my left hand (and yes, I'm a southpaw).  The doctor assures me it's not serious and that the swelling will go down (though it seems to be taking longer than she led me to believe).  It was painful drawing and inking my last piece.
